National Drive Electric Week Event – Poolesville 2016

WOW! 2015 was a great show! We are already looking forward to the 2016 parade and show!
Once again, the Poolesville.Green will host us on Poolesville Day with the help of the great Town of Poolesville. 2016 will be bigger and better. We are working to include a lot of great give-a-ways for car registrants and visiting guests, more activities, speakers and fun. All car owners will also get a free T-shirt and goodies bag.We will be having a number of great car events leading up to the NDEW day. Keep up to date with the latest information. Whether as an attending guest, wanting to volunteer (we really need volunteers) or an Electric (EV) or Plugin Electric (PHEV) vehicle owner or dealer, register early, stay up to date and have a say in what we do and how we do it (your input is important to us).

We have a number of dealerships and manufacture reps, like Jean Gough, EV Fleet Business Development Manager from Nissan North America, Inc. and Jim Alvis, Manager at Government Affairs for Kia Motors America Corporation, Washington Office (who is bringing a new Kia Soul EV).Members of the Star Wars 501st Legion’s “Old Line Garrison” are planning to attend Poolesville Day and will be camping out with us at the car show. This should make for some great photo ops.
Poolesville.Green is hosting the event on Poolesville Day with the Town of Poolesville. 2016 will be bigger and better.Last year, we were the largest NDEW event in the Washington (MD/VA/DC) area with 10,000 people visiting. We are working to include a lot of great give-a-ways for car registrants and visiting guests, to have more activities, speakers and fun. All vehicle owners andvolunteers will also get a free shirt and goodies bag. Visitors will be able to test drive some of the EVs (when their owners and dealerships allow).
Who should Register?
- Anyone interested in getting up dates
- Plug-In Electric and Plug-In Hybrid Electric Car Owners: The more the merrier.
- Sponsors: We need sponsors to help make this the best NDEW event ever.
- Media: Please help us get the word out!
- Volunteers: We need the help 🙂
- ALL (Note: Only Sponsors, Volunteers and EV PHEV Car owners will get a FREE T-Shirts, but all can reserve one (price TBD) .
- ONLY DAYS LEFT until the event Sept 17th.
- You will be notified of the event planning and on any other Poolesville Green hosted EV events,
- Registration helps us arrange for free T-Shirts and give-a-ways. .

We are a non-profit and really need your help (note: donations are not required to participate). We are looking for sponsors from as little as $20 dollars on up :)). A fairly standard donation with the most of the benefits starts at $200. The sooner you sponsor, the more your logos will show on our sites, flyers and other event media. Donations can also be made in terms of a valued gift to be given as free drawings to drivers and to guest at the event.
